Tennessee Pediatrics is proud to welcome Dr. Steve Claycomb to their team of providers in Murfreesboro. Dr. Claycomb is Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics(FAAP). He completed medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Texas Health& Science Center Houston Hermann Hospital and MD Anderson. Prior to joining Tennessee Pediatrics, Dr. Claycomb was the owner and a provider for Middle Tennessee Pediatrics in Lebanon, Tennessee. He has also worked with Children’s International Medical Group that was formed in response to Hurricane Katrina. The group originally served New Orleans, Louisiana, and the surrounding area and now has many offices in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Dr. Claycomb has special interests in the treatment of allergies and asthma in children as well as attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Charlotte, and his family. He is involved in his local church and participates in many outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, swimming, and hydroponic gardening. He has a lifetime goal to visit as many national parks as he can.
