Dr. Jonathan Spanier grew up in New City, New York, earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University, and moved to Nashville in 1999 for medical school at Vanderbilt University. He completed his pediatric residency at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and liked Tennessee so much that he decided to stay.
He has been a board certified pediatrician in Nashville and Brentwood, TN since 2006 and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He joined Tennessee Pediatrics in July 2019 and is excited to be part of their team. He is looking forward to meeting you and caring for your family.
Outside of work, Dr. Spanier enjoys running, cooking, movies, trivia, Duke basketball, and Titans football. He enjoys spending time with his wife Mindy (a teacher), their daughter Mallory, and their three dogs Bella, Bandit, and Pumpkin.
